Scott Shaw

Lead Strong Coach

Over the past 20 years Scott has led worship in various capacities in the local church and at conferences and retreats. He and his family moved back to his hometown of Columbus, Ohio where he has served as the Worship Minister at Worthington Christian Church the past 9 years. A graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio where he studied Worship Ministry, Scott also received his Master of Arts in Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago, Illinois.

Scott is grateful for the godly men that have mentored him throughout his life from his own father to coaches and to other worship leaders and pastors. He believes that men learn how to lead when mentored well, and his desire is to see men LEAD Strong in their families, vocations, and life pursuits.

When not playing music or spending time with family, especially in the great outdoors, Scott enjoys hanging out with the guys in his Warrior 3 group working out and leading discussions about the Bible and life.

Scott and his wife, Alisa, live in Lewis Center, Ohio. They have two college-age children and a daughter in high school, but due to his Warrior 3 Project regimen, he doesn’t look old enough to have grown children. Or does he? You be the judge.
